Two attractions, one aim

This commission from the National Heritage Lottery Fund (NHLF) focused on two pioneering public attractions which have put access for people with disabilities at the heart of what they do. RSPB Minsmere in Suffolk and the Foundling Museum in London made their spaces easier to access by introducing ramps or levelling out walkways – things we now take for granted in most museums and outdoor attractions.

Providing Inspiration

This film focuses on how changes in design have improved accessibility. For RSPB Minsmere we told the story of how one family enjoys the site. For the Foundling Museum we collaborated with Intoart, a charity for adults with learning disabilities, as they participated in creative activities at the museum. This film was shown at the beginning of a conference about making heritage spaces more inclusive.
