The Cook Exhibition
A film was made to advertise The British Library’s exhibition of Captain James Cook’s late 18th century voyages, which took him to many unchartered territories. His first adventure was across the Pacific Ocean, the second saw him navigate the Antarctic Circle (a first), and the third took him to the North Atlantic. We were proud to create all video content for this 5-star exhibition, which included working with Sir David Attenborough.
Finding the Balance
The exhibition films had to take care in explaining about the voyages while ensuring people understood that this was not a celebration of Cook, as the consequences of his voyages still generate controversy today. We conscientiously delivered a message that reflected the balanced tone of the exhibition. This was our first collaboration with The British Library, who were delighted with the amount of visitors it received and commissioned Chocolate for their next exhibition.
