Headstone Manor & Museum lets you discover Harrow, northwest London from the earliest prehistory to today. It tells the many tales of the people who once lived there, shows how architecture and customs have changed over the centuries and explains the history of the whole Harrow area.
At the end of 2017, Headstone Manor & Museum reopened its doors following a 4-year renovation. Chocolate Films produced all video and audio for the site – that’s 50 pieces of content, ranging from a film with actors showing visitors Harrow’s rich history, to oral histories shot with current residents.
This is a collection of nine films talking to residents of Harrow and their connection with the town. The subjects included a man who had actually lived in the Manor House as a manager, a woman whose husband survived the Harrow train crash in 1952, a former chairman of the Harrow Heritage Trust, and one of the people who carried the Olympic torch in 2012.
