The Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society is the organisation that underpins the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the world’s largest arts festival. Its core aims are to support participants, assist Fringe audiences and promote the festival to the world.
The Chocolate Films Scotland team roamed around the 2018 Fringe to shoot the trailer for 2019’s festival’s campaign. We were given free creative rein to maximise the impact of the trailer, which we chose to shoot from the perspective of somebody attending the Fringe for the first time.
Starring a local actor and set to a poem that was written as a celebration of the festival, this trailer embodies what the Edinburgh Fringe is all about. We loved producing this first experimental commission for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society and have since made more films together. See you at the Fringe!
