Drop Everything
We got a call on a Thursday to say there might be an opportunity to film David Hockney at his home in LA. The following day, it was confirmed that the shoot would happen on Monday. We got three people out to LA – director, camera operator and sound – plus arranged visas, hotels and hiring kit. Oh, and it was Thanksgiving weekend in America when (almost) everything shuts down.
At Home With Hockney
The film is aimed at inspiring the next generation of artists. Hockney tells about his time at the Royal College of Art and the role it played in his career. The crew flew out with a representative from the RCA who organised the questions. Together they had an amazing day at Hockney‘s house, including lunch. The film has had over 150,000 views on Facebook and we continue to work with the client.
