About The Mayor Of London

The Mayor of London is the executive of the Greater London Authority. The Mayor and his office aim to make the UK capital a better place for everyone who visits, lives or works in the city. They have authority over the 32 London boroughs as well as the City of London.

Working With City Hall

Chocolate Films and the Mayor of London have collaborated on multiple projects over the years, including filming a Windrush70 event at City Hall, a documentary film screening and an all-female arts project.

Marking 100 years of women’s suffrage, the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan in collaboration with the Tate Collective launched ‘Behind Every Great City’. Twenty women and non-binary artists created public artworks around the city to celebrate relatively unsung women who’d made a significant cultural impact on London, including suffragettes, architects, and artists.
