Open Arms
2018 marked the 70th anniversary of the arrival of Caribbean migrants to the UK on the Empire Windrush. This short film, commissioned by the Mayor of London, documented the celebrations at London City Hall. It features leading figures from the black community such as Baroness Floella Benjamin and Linton Kwesi Johnson alongside passengers from the Empire Windrush and their relatives.
Celebrating Diversity
This day-long event was filmed by a self-shooting videographer. We pre-arranged some key moments to film with the client, and for the rest of the day the Chocolate Films filmmaker responded to the activity that was happening throughout City Hall. The video was featured online, and was very well received.
