A day to remember
The Royal Collection Trust planned their biggest ever Family Festival at Windsor Castle in September 2017 and this film was made to capture the fun taking place over the day. With children learning sword skills, jousting, embroidery and various other medieval activities, they could then be ‘dubbed’ and given a medal in St George’s Chapel.
Capturing the event
As the RCT requested we wanted to show that Windsor Castle was a fun day out and open to everybody, and not just a place for exhibitions. A crew of two made sure all the events, activities and sections of the Castle grounds were covered. They spoke to the organisers who explained the day’s background and agenda, and to children who revealed just how much they enjoyed the experience.
