Producing a Portrait of the Thames
Chocolate Films was commissioned to create a new permanent video installation for the foyer of the Museum of London, Docklands. The film is a portrait of the river from the estuary all the way down to the museum itself on the Isle of Dogs.
The River from Every Angle
Shot from land, boats and helicopters, we used a wide range of filming styles to paint a portrait of the post-industrial Thames. The video features key locations along the way including Southend, Cliffe Pools, Gateway Port, Tilbury Docks, Rainham Marshes, The Thames Barrier and the Woolwich Ferry. The full film is on permanent display in the foyer of Museum of London, Docklands. This is an excerpt.
