Bringing stories to life
Renaisi is an award-winning social enterprise which aims to transform disadvantaged communities and secure opportunities for people in Hackney, east London. It provides a range of services including pro bono work to help refugees get language training, appointments and to support them as they integrate into British life. The charity’s goal for the films was to bring personal stories to life and give a face to what they do.
Applying our skills
We produced three 60-second films, focusing on refugees, people with learning difficulties, and people making the journey into employment. As we were filming vulnerable people who were not used to appearing on camera, our filmmakers worked closely with the interviewees, giving support and advice. Through our workshop programme, our team has extensive experience working with vulnerable people.
