Come Together
Chocolate Films made a competitive pitch to One Dance UK, the newly amalgamated national support organisation for dance. The film would be featured on their website and shown at conferences, and would serve as a mission statement for the organisation. We outlined a plan to them concerning everything from budget to shooting, and scripted it ourselves.
Taking the Lead
With limited time, space and budget, we devised a method of filming for one day at a dance conference at The Trinity Laban Centre, filming scripted content with big names in the dance world such as Tamara Rojo. We included different colour backgrounds, shot dance footage and integrated it with archive footage, being mindful to represent dancers from all different disciplines and organisations, from Dance Health to African Dance. The video is featured on their website’s About Us page and was shown at the AGM. We received an email from the client to say “It was met with loud cheers and applause – so it went down very well!’
