About The Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards
The Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards recognise and celebrate best practice in community engagement. They also aim to encourage organisations at the start of their responsible business journey to reflect on how they can do more for society. Past winners include IBM, Lloyd’s of London and Arsenal Football Club. The initiatives can be external, such as working with and mentoring young people from a deprived area. Alternatively, it could highlight an exemplary culture within a workforce. Chocolate Films has produced all of the award films shown on the night of the Awards for the Lord Mayor’s 2018 and 2019 Dragon Awards.
Meet 2018’s Regional Impact Award Winner
Penguin Random House UK won the Regional Impact Award at the 2018 Dragon Awards ceremony for Write Now, their workshop and mentoring programme through which they support budding writers. Penguin Random House UK’s aim through Write Now is to nurture writing talent from underrepresented communities across England and help them get their work published.
