More than a rugby club
In 2018, English and European champions Saracens contacted us to make a film that would be broadcast at its annual club gala. It was designed to raise greater awareness for Saracens Sport Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the rugby club, and to encourage people to look at the work they do beyond the pitch.
As well as a four-minute film, we released shorter clips on the club’s disability and cheerleading programmes as well as the work it does with older people in the community.
A winning team
We set out to shoot community sport content in the style of footage that you’d traditionally see at a sports event. We created slo-mo and stabilised tracking shots to make the films dynamic and full of movement. The films convey the message of One Saracens, One Club and we were delighted when The Foundation won Harnessing the Power of Elite Sport at the 2019 London Sport Awards.
