Smartify is an app to scan and identify artworks, access the stories behind the works and build a private collection across museums and galleries around the world. As a global tech company, Smartify works with and supports galleries and museums whilst offering visitors a new and interactive experience.
Smartify asked Chocolate Films to make a short and engaging promotional video showing how their innovative new app works in some of the world’s greatest museums and galleries. We shot at the National Gallery in London and the edit was an immediate hit with the team at Smartify, resulting in a very quick turnaround time for the whole project.
Used on Smartify’s home page, this video explains how a user scans a piece of art and accesses information on the click of a button, as well as saving artworks to curate a personal gallery. Through augmented reality, the user unlocks a new dimension of each artwork; and information is highly accessible as it can be read and listened to. The video guides you through the process with elegant visuals and on-screen text.
