Make My Video

Our Urban Fabric

There are approximately 1,500 mosques in Britain, which range enormously in design and scale: illustrating the diversity of the Muslim population. Chocolate was commissioned by Historic England to make a short film to support the publication of a new book titled The British Mosque. We filmed in two locations – Woking and Regent’s Park. Woking is home to England’s only Grade I listed mosque, the London Central Mosque can hold up to 5000 worshippers.

The Stories Behind Beautiful Buildings

We wanted to show off the intricate and ornate interior designs along with how beautiful these buildings are. As part of our kit, we took a genie, which is like a turntable, to get some great 360° shots. We also used text to drive the narrative that revealed some of the fascinating facts behind British mosques. To date, this film has had close to 100,000 views online.
