Power Play

In 2018, to commemorate the centenary of women’s suffrage, the Women’s Vote Centenary Fund sponsored Jackson’s Lane theatre company and pupils from three schools in North London to create a trio of workshopped performance pieces addressing women’s rights. Chocolate Films was commissioned to film the making of the project and to include interviews with the director and the young participants.

Behind the Scenes

Chocolate Films accompanied the outreach project and collaborated with it from start to finish. We filmed all stages from the workshopping process to rehearsals and performance and interviewed a wide range of people every step of the way, for this fly-on-the-wall short. The film received a great response and was sent to all three schools for use as a teaching aid.
