Pocket Money
Young Enterprise wanted to make a film to teach primary and secondary school children how to use money in a practical and sensible way; for example, via a bake sale at school. The film displays scenarios where children have a budget and are shown several options on how to spend it – be it a trip to the zoo, the seaside or a festival. In practice, teachers will then pause the video to discuss with the class what they think they should do.
Spending It
Chocolate Films wrote the scripts, obtained props and cast child actors to perform scenes against a studio green screen. Several options were played out depending on what decisions about the money were made. In post production, we added animation and background footage to make the films vibrant and relevant to the age of the target audience.
