Tara is an award-winning multicultural theatre in Earlsfield, south London. Committed to connecting worlds, audiences are invited to step through the Indian front door into a world of colour, where the small is global. Tara hosts and produces a variety of shows including theatre, comedy, music and family performances.
We recently worked with Tara Arts on two productions. For Eastern Star by Guy Slater we produced a series of three trailers, using divers methods from an interview with the director, to actors, archive footage and on-screen text. This successful project led to the next: Three Sat Under the Banyan Tree.
Chocolate Films was commissioned to make a trailer for a colourful play, an adaption of an Indian story for ages 7+ showing at two theatres including the Polka, Wimbledon. Tara Arts’ Three Sat Under the Banyan Tree follows the stories of a brave tiger, headstrong crows, and a mongoose who longs for a family.
