Old School Meets New School
The Grant Museum, which is based at University College London (UCL), was founded in 1824 and boasts one of the oldest collections of natural history in the UK. The zoology department wanted to promote its educational opportunities to a wider, overseas audience. So the department invited a group of children from a local school and held a series of workshops at UCL about animal physiology and animal movement.
Reaching A Worldwide Audience
The workshops were turned into a film that was shot inside the Museum and sent to schools across the world. We’ve worked with UCL on numerous occasions in the past but this was our biggest joint project in recent memory. The key for us was to work closely with the children, who were involved in writing the script. To get the best results, we combined our experience of running workshops with young people with video production expertise.
