Eastern Promise
Chocolate Films was commissioned to make a trailer for a colourful play, an adaption of an Indian story for ages 7+, showing at two theatres including the Polka. Tara Arts’ Three Sat Under the Banyan Tree follows the stories of a brave tiger, headstrong crows, and a mongoose who longs for a family.
Backstage Pass
Chocolate Films had worked with Tara Arts previously, having made a trailer for its production of Eastern Star. Another trailer was commissioned for social media, a bright and vivid advert, to draw family audiences in. The promo was shot on press night, in two versions, and had a very quick turnaround; only one performance was filmed, capturing its lightness and agility. It had a great impact: the play ran for months then toured.
